Coal, our black poodle puppy, has become quite the hunter. A few months ago I was grocery shopping and saw a cart with clearance items in it. There were several dog bones in the cart so I bought some. When I got home, I placed the grocery bags on the floor and Coal started sniffing them. Before I knew it, he had found one of the bones that I had bought and had taken it out of the grocery bag and ran off with it to his bed! Since then, every time that I go grocery shopping, he goes through my bags when I get home looking for a bone. Sometimes I will sneak a bone into the bag after I get home so that he can find one. This week I took some pictures of him looking for a bone in the grocery bags. Copper (our other poodle) will just stand there looking, wondering what Coal is doing.
He found the bag that had a bone but was not able to get to it because of the groceries on top of it.
Coal getting closer to getting the bone since I have taken some of the groceries out.
He's got the bone and he is off for the bed!
Coal sitting in the bed with his bone. It still has the plastic on it!

That is cute. Keiser loves to "help" us bring in the groceries. He seems to think it's exciting to trot back & forth between the vehicle & the house to unload. He's always looking for his food too!
