Just wanted to add a couple of lines to the blog. Not much is happening around here, sorry it has been so long since the last bit of news. Well, I guess I shouldn't really say not much is happening since I have been subbing for Lisa all week, but she still hasn't had her baby. She wasn't feeling good over the weekend, has a cold, so has been home trying to keep up her strength for when the baby does decide to make an appearance.
She e-mailed me today and said that she plans to come in tomorrow, but I think I will still go in some time during the day to help her out and do some grading for her. I am getting to know the kids really well now...and they are getting to know me! Not always a good thing there!! Ha
So I have been busy...just haven't taken over the classroom yet officially.
Allen's birthday is today...he took half the day off and came and had lunch with me at school! Jimmy Johns!!! Luv that place! Anyway, I was going to make him supper tonight but since I ended up working, he said we could just have pizza. Invited over his family to eat with us. Well....when I got home from work he had already made supper!! We are having pasta with white and red sauce (chicken in the white and sausage in the red), salad, and crusty bread with dipping oil!! So all I had to do was make his birthday cake, which ended up being apple crisp (his request) since he isn't a big cake lover! So my night has turned out pretty easy...just waiting to put the pasta on now. Poor guy, had to cook his own birthday supper! To tell the truth, I think he got a little bored around the house today with no one home!

Ahhhh Happy Late Birthday to Allan!! Wish we were there to help you munch on that Apple Crumble with ya..YUMMM!!! Sharla, don't be too worried he had to cook his on birthday dinner...at least he cooked!! ha! Pete is getting this BBQ thing down pat, and pretty much thinks we should cook EVERYTHING on the BBQ.....I'm like "Ummmm honey, there is more to cooking then just BBQing"! ha! He was begging for banana bread last night, and said that 'he would help me' .... so we went down to the shops and got our goods, and then came back home..and he dumped the stuff on the bench, and plopped down on the couch & started watching a movie...! So yep, that was 'him helping me' ! ha!!! Then afterwards, I was like.."Gosh, babe..thanks for the help cooking.." He's like.."all ya had to do was ask"! ha..ohhhh men!! =) Hope your enjoying your new job..sounds interesting!! Are you getting ready to get your little baby christmas tree out before too long??!!! =) Did it live?!?!
Happy Birthday, Allen! Since I work till 5:30 4 days/week, Bryce often helps with the evening meal. It sounds like A is very capable!
