Front page news!! ☺

Well, it's just neat to see such a big picture of your child on the front page of the newspaper. Even if it is just a little newspaper! Do ya think he might be just a wee bit jealous? Ha

Chicago

Monday we took the train to Chicago with the Sullivan's. Their kids are on Spring Break this week also, which worked out really nice.

We went to the Field Museum. They had a pirate exhibit going on which was pretty interesting to tour through.
Skyline of Chicago as we left the Field Museum. It was a very cloudy day, so we decided to not go up to the top of the Sears Tower. Guess we will have to come back another time for that. I would really like the kids to experience that.

Don't come to our house!!

I have been sick again! Started feeling bad on Thursday, runny nose and sore throat. Felt worse as the day went along on Friday, was running a fever by the time I got home from school. I am still not feeling too good. My fever is gone, but still ache all over and have a very clogged up head.

Nathan had this last week. He started out with a headache and his ear hurting on Saturday, a week ago. Then started running a fever on Sunday. Took him to the Dr. on Monday, he had ear infections. Got him on antibiotics, but the fever did not go away until Friday! He also was complaining of his back hurting by mid week. I think he had the flu, as well as ear infections. He finally started eating on Friday. He lost 3 pounds over the week! That's a lot for his little body!

Well, Sarah started complaining yesterday (Saturday) with a headache, sore throat, and her ear hurting. She is all clogged up too. This morning (Sunday), she woke up with a temperature of 100.1! So I am home with her this morning while Allen and the boys are off to meeting. It is a never ending cycle, it seems like anyway! I'll be glad for Spring Break! Hopefully everyone will be feeling good by then and we can enjoy our days off!

Coal and I have a little morning ritual. I sit and drink my morning tea while catching up on the news and he lays in my lap getting spoiled!

I always feel like I need to post pictures whenever I blog. I don't know why I feel like that, but I do, and it keeps me from blogging, sometimes for several days. Sorry about that! Anyway, here are a few new pictures!
