Seneca

It's hard to believe that we are home from convention already! We had a very good convention, now comes the hard part of applying what we heard to our daily living. One thought that was passed on that has stayed with me is that yearly feasting does not take the place of daily feeding.
I have posted a few pictures. I intended to get a picture of the meeting shed, but never got around to it. So many young kids standing around, it would have been hard to see it any way!! For those of you that did not hear the news yet, Sarah professed in the Saturday night meeting. It was made extra special because Janine had a part in that meeting.

Recognize this man? He also spoke in the Saturday night meeting.

This was quite funny to see. They (not sure who) had made a walking path through one of the fields. They were encouraging us to walk on it instead of the road because the road was too dangerous with all the cars that travel along it. When you were out on the path, you really couldn't see it when you looked out across the field because the weeds were so high. The path took a lot of turns and zig zags. It was 1.3 miles long. So it looked like a lot of people in nice clothes were just aimlessly walking around in a wild field. I had to take a picture. I was kind of glad that the field was surrounded by a corn field and none of the cars on the road could see us!!!

nice to hear about Sarah! :)

The pic of Rich made me homesick. I hope you told him a big enough hello to include me! ;)

yes, we did, Anita! You should have seen the look on some of the faces when we told them "Anita says Hi"!!! They were like, Anita? And we would say, yes, Anita B! They were like, you've seen her? you've talked to her? Allen's like, yeah, we just happened to run into her the other day and she said to tell you all hi!! It was great fun relaying your message to everyone!!!

Wish we could have been there. Craig and I have talked for the past couple of years about getting back to an IL. conv. but so far hasn't worked out. Maybe next year....:) You could always come to Paris, we just added onto the mtg shed so should be plenty of room.(won't even make you sit in the dining shed)Good luck with 1st day of school pictures.:)
